The precincts included in SD41 have changed three times since Sen. Marcus was elected to represent it. We worked hard to flip this seat from Red to Blue in 2018, when it stretched from Davidson to South Ballantyne.
We were proud to be re-elected in 2020 when the district was redrawn to be more compact, covering North Mecklenburg. The district lines have changed again for 2022.
Natasha works hard to be a reliable representative of the people of SD41. She is available to answer constituent questions, help with problems and speak to groups in the area.
For almost a decade, the NC General Assembly was controlled by a GOP super-majority. We need balance, not one-party rule. Good ideas come from both sides and voters want us to work together.
Senate District 41 has changed significantly over the years due to redistricting. For the 2018 Election, it included Davidson, Cornelius, Huntersville, Mt. Island Lake, Steele Creek, Pineville, and parts of South Ballantyne. For the 2020 Election, it was much more compact, including Davidson, Cornelius, Huntersville, Mt. Island Lake, and parts of North and Northwest Charlotte.
For the 2022 Election, it changed again. Now it includes Davidson, only one precinct of Cornelius (202), most of Huntersville (all except precinct 142), Mt. Island Lake, and West Charlotte including most of the Beatties Ford Corridor, West Blvd and the Charlotte Airport. (New West Charlotte Precincts are 12, 16, 23-25, 31, 39-41, 53, 79 & 200). See the maps below for more detail.
